Distribution of actors in the project management: the coordination of DISSEM-INN is organised around its coordination team and all the pairs of focal points appointed within the eight DeSIRAs involved.

The coordination team

The core of the DISSEM-INN project coordination team consists of a project leader and a consultant appointed to support its deployment. This coordination is organised by CIRAD.

Their main missions are:

  • to organise the three main activities planned in the DISSEM-INN timeline (coordination for scientific activities and logistics);
  • to draft cross-cutting outputs resulting from multi-stakeholder exchanges during the different workshop.

The focal points

Each of the eight DeSIRAs involved has appointed at least two focal points within its project team. The main mission of these focal points are:

  • to provide knowledge and experience from their own DESIRA project;
  • to actively contribute to the exchanges with all participants of the other DeSIRAs involved;
  • to relay information and outputs related to DISSEM-INN to their project team members.

The Project Monitoring Committee (PMC)

The DISSEM-INN project has a monitoring committee made up of seven institutions chosen for their involvment in the project or their prominent role in the sub-region: AFD, EU, CIRAD, DeSIRA LIFT Project, CORAF, ROPPA, ECOWAS.
Its main missions are:

  • to monitor the activties carried out by the project;
  • to support the annual definition of future activities;
  • to contribute to the dissemination of the cross-cutting outputs developed by the project.
